Police in Kagadi is investigating the mysterious death of one resident following a bar fight.
The deceased has been identified as Apollo Ndabahweje, a resident of Bugasha village in Maberenga parish, Nyabirongo Sub County in Kagadi district.
It is alleged that on Friday last week, Ndabahweje was engaged in a fight with two yet to be identified men in a local bar belonging to one Night, a resident of Bugasha village.
He later went to his home to rest but complained of serious pain.
Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine Region police spokesperson says Ndabahweje died hours later. His wife Peturonia Nyiransabimana, on Saturday reported a case of murder at Bwikara police post.
Hakiza says police is hunting for the two men who are said to have engaged in a fight with Ndabahweje.
