Over 300 believers of the Baptist Faith from across East Africa have converged at Faith Baptist Church in Masindi Town for the 7th Independent Baptist Fellowship of East Africa (IBEFEA) conference.

The three-day conference officially opened on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, and will run until Thursday, January 8, 2026. It is being held under the theme “How will they hear without a preacher?” drawn from Romans 10:14.

Pastor Oleo Richard of Faith Baptist Church Masindi said participants have come from several East African countries, including South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda saying more than 300 participants have already registered, and additional attendees are expected.

Meanwhile, Pastor Robert Kiiragura of Faith Baptist Church Kituuka 2 in Masindi District said the conference is open to everyone and is expected to bring spiritual transformation to participants.

Some believers attending the conference, including Christine Komujuni from Faith Baptist Church Hoima and Elizah Jaluge from Born Again Baptist Ministry Tororo, expressed hope that the conference will strengthen their faith and positively change their lives.
