Hoima City locals have been implored to aim at setting up projects and embracing development activities as they work towards boosting their household livelihoods in the New Year 2025 that sets in midnight.
The locals need to reflect their performance in the ending year of 2024 and not give up on their missions and goals but rather refocus their energies on the forthcoming year in order to have their dreams achieved according to the Hoima city mayor Sylvia Nalumaga Balyesiima in an exclusive interview with Spice FM.
The deputy mayor says city locals should also work collectively to ensue development and growth of the area by embarking on developmental programs as well as educating the young generation among other productive ventures that are geared towards empowering households.
She has further disclosed that the nation is heading to a new year which will be filled with more of politics where she now calls on the residents to seek guidance from God to elect the right leaders to represent them at different levels.
She calls on the residents to avoid the cases of fighting and other evils during the political year adding that residents need to remain united for development.
