Maroons seek to become the first team to complete a double over current table leaders Kitara if they overcome them at Luzira on Friday.

The reverse fixture ended in a 1-0 victory for the two time league champions [1968 and 1969] and that is the only defeat for the Kitara side at Masindi this season.

Coming into the game, Maroons lost their last outing 2-0 to Maroons and are yet to pick maximum points in four second round fixtures.

This is in contrast to Kitara who ascended to the top of the table with three wins in four league games so far in the second round and just dropped points in the 1-1 draw with Villa.

David Ndihabwe, Maroons captain wants his teammates to show quality and go for all points.

“It was a disappointing performance and result in our last game but we have worked hard to put things right,” said Ndihabwe.

Maroons have Darius Ojok back in the team after missing the last two games while with the Hippos.
