Kagadi police have arrested a pastor for allegedly sleeping with a married woman and also impregnating her daughter.
The accused has been identified as Pastor William Talemwa a resident of Kigangaizi Cell in Kagadi Town council, Kagadi district and the leader of Kamaira Jerusalem church which is under the Grace church foundation in Ruteete Town Council.
Speaking to Journalists on Tuesday, the Kagadi Resident District Commissioner Lillian Ruteraho explained that pastor Talemwa was arrested on her orders and has closed his church until when investigations are done.
Ruteraho says Pastor Talemwa engaged in adultery with a married woman and at the same time, defiled the woman’s daughter. The RDC says the pastor is also accused of impregnating the girl.
The mother and daughter had gone to the pastor’s church for prayers.
It is alleged that the woman also connived with Pastor Talemwa and convinced her husband Eldad Kateeba of Kagadi Town Council to sell his Tipper Truck. The pastor and the woman then used the Sh25m accrued from the vehicle sales and bought a new car which they registered in the names of Pastor William Taremwa.
Ms. Ruteraho challenges the community to avoid following fake pastors if they are to survive these evil deeds.
Eldad Kateeba, the complainant explains that he has been in marriage for 35 years with his wife and have 13 children but was shocked by the Pastor’s actions of having an affair with his wife and daughter as well as stealing his property.
Meanwhile, Pastor Talemwa claims he used his own money to buy a car but declined to comment on the infidelity allegations.
