Farmers in Kibanga Ward, Kagadi town council in Kagadi district are counting losses following a heavy downpour accompanied by hailstorms which destroyed their crops.

The areas which were mostly affected are Kyakabugahya B, Kyakasenene and Kyamukunisa all in Kibanga ward Kagadi town council.

The heavy rains that lasted for hours destroyed mainly Gardens of Cassava, Maize, Beans, coffee, sweet potatoes and unroofed a house.
