Bunyoro, Buganda to Lock Horns this Weekend in the Fufa Drum First Group Stage Fixture

Bunyoro province is on trip this weekend to lock horns with Buganda Province in the first fixture of the FUFA Drama 4th edition group stages at Kavumba Recreation grounds.

The grandsons of Kabalega eliminated Sebei province on 3:1 aggregate after a convincing 3:0 win at Kigaya before trailing 1:0 loss in Sebei.

Bunyoro were placed in group D termed as the “group of death” with 2018 champions Buganda and last edition’s semifinalists Tooro.

Bunyoro Province coach Fred Alinaitwe has a big task ahead of him of ensuring that his team goes through the group stages for the first time

The best two teams in the group stages will qualify directly to the quarterfinals.

This is the third successive time that Bunyoro is featuring at the Drum tournament.

West Nile province are the current champions of the FUFA Drum.
