{"id":9516,"date":"2025-05-26T14:28:50","date_gmt":"2025-05-26T14:28:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spicemedia.ug\/spicefm\/?p=9516"},"modified":"2025-05-26T14:48:49","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T14:48:49","slug":"unkown-thugs-attack-kill-kinubi-resident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spicemedia.ug\/spicefm\/2025\/05\/26\/unkown-thugs-attack-kill-kinubi-resident\/","title":{"rendered":"Unkown Thugs Attack, Kill Kinubi Resident"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>By Flavia Ajok<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Shock on Monday morning engulfed residents of Bwikya cell in Kinubi after unknown thugs attacked one resident, hit him with a hammer on the head multiple times leading to his death.<\/p>\n<p>The deceased has been identified as Farouk Mwogezi Mirundi believed to be in his 30s, a manson who hails from Sembabule district.<\/p>\n<p>By the time the incident happened, Mwogezi\u2019s wife was away to Kooki-Haibale for pilgrimage while their three children were residing at a friend\u2019s home.<\/p>\n<p>Neighbors of the deceased allege that Mwogezi could have been beaten from somewhere else and just brought to his room where he was renting in Bwikya cell.<\/p>\n<p>Julius Kasangaki, a neighbor says at around 4pm they heard Mwogezi scream from room in pain.<\/p>\n<p>Sam Bigabwenkya, the Bwikya Cell LC 1 Chairperson condemned the act saying that the deceased had no wrangles with anyone.<\/p>\n<p>Idi Magezi, the Hoima east division councilor, is urging security in the city to intensify night patrols to curb such acts.<\/p>\n<p>Ronald Muhoofa, the Hoima east division community liaison officer has assured residents that the police will investigate the murder to ensure the thugs are arrested.<\/p>\n<p>By press time, police were carrying out a postmortem on the body at the crime scene.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Flavia Ajok Shock on Monday morning engulfed residents of Bwikya cell in Kinubi after unknown thugs attacked one resident, hit him with a hammer on the head multiple times leading to his death.
