Leader of Opposition in Parliament, Joel Ssenyonyi, has declared war on corruption, announcing that the majority of the 2025\/26 alternative budget priority areas will focus on combating this vice.<\/p>\n
“Corruption remains the single biggest roadblock to our nation’s progress,” Mr\u00a0Ssenyonyi emphasised. “Year after year, Ugandans are told that resources are scarce, yet we continue to see trillions lost to mismanagement, inflated contracts, and outright theft.”<\/p>\n
