Who is guiding the president on this decision? Moving UCDA into an already overburdened ministry is not the right approach,\u201d Byakutaga stated.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, the Bunyoro premier advocates for boosting UCDA\u2019s funding.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith 12 million people involved in coffee production, and Bunyoro contributing 6% to the national output, the logical step is to allocate more funds to UCDA. The government should set yearly goals, such as increasing production, expanding international markets, and enhancing quality, rather than merging the authority.
