At least nine people have been hacked to death in Kagadi District over alleged Cult-related violence.\u00a0 The incident happened on Tuesday night in Muzizi cell, Kyaterekera town council.<\/p>\n
Unknown people armed with machetes raided the village at 9 pm and started hacking people indiscriminately. They later fled to an unknown destination.<\/p>\n
The Albertine spokesperson SP Julius Alan Hakiza\u00a0\u00a0identified the deceased locals as Nyirambe Boniface Rodgers, Yokania Esakara 76 yr, Gabuwera Erinorah\u00a0\u00a064, Muhindo Praise, 8 kamugwanika 44 masika kabagenyi 3\u00a0\u00a0Baruk Fednard 13 and\u00a0\u00a0Kabugho Oliver.Eight others are admitted to health centers.<\/p>\n
Hakiiza says that the police and the Uganda Peoples Defense Forces soldiers have been deployed in the area to pursue the assailants.<\/p>\n
The Injured victims shared their ordeal, leaving the community shocked and concerned about cult-related violence.<\/p>\n
Fred Talemwa, LC3 chairperson, attributed the motive to a dispute over the “God Holy Spirit Son Man-Man” cult teachings.<\/p>\n
