The thugs, armed with a gun and a hammer, demanded all the money he had.<\/p>\n<p>Fearing for his life, Kaahwa surrendered Shillings 3 million, along with his car key and a 25-kilogram bag of rice.\u00a0After the robbery, the thugs fled to an unknown location.<\/p>\n<p>Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson, confirmed that investigations are underway, with a team of flying squad operatives dispatched to track down the suspects, who may have been monitoring Kaahwa\u2019s movements for some time.<\/p>\n<p>This incident follows a similar robbery in January at Wairagaza trading center in Kyangwali sub-county, where armed robbers stole Shillings 3 million from businesswoman Sarah Bampayineza at gunpoint.
