{"id":7033,"date":"2024-04-15T13:26:24","date_gmt":"2024-04-15T13:26:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spicemedia.ug\/spicefm\/?p=7033"},"modified":"2024-04-15T13:27:12","modified_gmt":"2024-04-15T13:27:12","slug":"kikuube-man-wanted-for-killing-suspected-matooke-thief","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spicemedia.ug\/spicefm\/2024\/04\/15\/kikuube-man-wanted-for-killing-suspected-matooke-thief\/","title":{"rendered":"Kikuube Man Wanted for Killing Suspected Matooke Thief"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Flavia Ajok<\/p>\n<p>Police in Kikuube district have arrested one Fred Kasaija resident of Kyeya West Village, Kasonga Parish in Kyangwali Sub County for allegedly assaulting to death a 32-year-old man.<\/p>\n<p>The deceased has been identified as Cuthbert Anatamba, a resident of Kyeya West village.<\/p>\n<p>Julius Allan Hakiza the Albertine region police spokesperson says on April 7, 2024 at around 1:00am in the wee hours of the night, the deceased was arrested with two bunches of suspected stolen Matooke.<\/p>\n<p>The locals led by the village chairman beat him severally before he was taken to Kanara police post.<\/p>\n<p>Hakiza adds that on April 12, 2024, Kanara\u2019s health condition deteriorated and he was rushed to Rwenyawawa health center III where he was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n<p>Police picked up Fred Kasaija to help with investigations.
