The victim is Elvis Wembabazi.<\/p>\n<p>Alituha a resident of Itara cell in Hoima West City Division tied little pieces of timber around the boy\u2019s arms before he set them ablaze. He later locked the child in a garage for days before the boy was rescued by locals.<\/p>\n<p>It is all alleged that Alituha who had been brought home by the father identified as Ian Byabasaija, a driver attached to Bwendero Diary Farm limited to help the stepmother with home errands, was punished for not taking good care off his stepmother\u2019s children.<\/p>\n<p>Maureen Ngazi, the boy\u2019s grandmother explains that she received a phone call from a concerned neighbor about the boy\u2019s health condition.<\/p>\n<p>Ngazi says they reported a case of aggravated torture at Kyabaliyanga police post where they were referred to Kasingo police post but the suspect was briefly detained before she bribed her way out.<\/p>\n<p>Wembabazi accuses his step mother of burning him as a punishment of failing to take good care of his young siblings.<\/p>\n<p>Hilda Musiimenta, the boy\u2019s biological mother says her ex-husband Ian Byabasaija took his son away from her when the boy turned five years.<\/p>\n<p>Musimenta says the boy\u2019s father has since failed to offer support to the child claiming that his bosses do not pay him salary.<\/p>\n<p>Julius Allan Hakiza the Albertine region police spokesperson confirms the arrest of Alituha saying she will be arraigned in court tomorrow to answer charges of aggravated torture.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Flavia Ajok Police in Hoima City is holding a woman identified as Mildred Alituha for allegedly burning his 6-year-old stepson.
