{"id":4785,"date":"2023-04-17T05:11:20","date_gmt":"2023-04-17T05:11:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spicemedia.ug\/spicefm\/?p=4785"},"modified":"2023-04-17T05:13:15","modified_gmt":"2023-04-17T05:13:15","slug":"assailants-hack-masindi-scrap-dealer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spicemedia.ug\/spicefm\/2023\/04\/17\/assailants-hack-masindi-scrap-dealer\/","title":{"rendered":"Assailants Hack Masindi Scrap Dealer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Leilah Bbaale<\/p>\n<p>Unknown assailants have hacked to death a 41-year-old man in Masindi district.\u00a0The deceased has been identified as Gerald Baguma, a resident of Kabango village in Masindi district.<\/p>\n<p>Baguma, a scrap dealer met his death on Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p>It is believed that the assailants attacked Baguma to steal from him after he had earlier in the day sold a truck loaded with scrap metals.<\/p>\n<p>Kyalisima Xavier, a brother to Baguma has told Spice FM that the assailants on Saturday night attacked his brother and hit him thrice with a hammer on the head before they cut off his neck.<\/p>\n<p>The incident according to Kyalisima happened at Baguma\u2019s scrap store since where he has been staying.<\/p>\n<p>The deceased hails from Kakira-Ngobye in Buraru sub county, Hoima district.<\/p>\n<p>Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson says investigations into the gruesome murder have commenced.
