Shock and grief have gripped residents of Ruteete West Cell in Ruteete Town Council, Kagadi District, following the death of a 30-year-old woman at her boyfriend’s home under unclear circumstances.<\/p>\n
The deceased has been identified as\u00a0Deudanta Turamisa, a resident of Mutunda Cell in Ruteete Town Council.<\/p>\n
According to the LC1 Chairperson of Ruteete West Cell,\u00a0Milton Ndyareba, he was informed about the incident at around midnight on Monday.<\/p>\n
He said Turamisa had reportedly gone to spend the night at the home of her boyfriend,\u00a0Didas Ndyamuhakyi, also 30, a resident of Ruteete West Cell.<\/p>\n
She reportedly died during the night under unclear circumstances.<\/p>\n
Ndyareba described the incident as shocking and urged young people to be careful when entering relationships.<\/p>\n
He advised them to know their partners well, including their health status, before making long-term commitments such as marriage.<\/p>\n
Following an agreement between the two families, the deceased’s body was released to relatives for burial.<\/p>\n
Police have launched investigations into the incident. By press time, Didas Ndyamuhakyi was being held at Ruteete Police Station to assist with investigations.<\/p>\n
