{"id":11258,"date":"2026-06-12T14:53:03","date_gmt":"2026-06-12T14:53:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spicemedia.ug\/spicefm\/?p=11258"},"modified":"2026-06-12T15:33:55","modified_gmt":"2026-06-12T15:33:55","slug":"hoima-district-launches-construction-of-sh3-1-billion-kitoba-seed-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spicemedia.ug\/spicefm\/2026\/06\/12\/hoima-district-launches-construction-of-sh3-1-billion-kitoba-seed-school\/","title":{"rendered":"Hoima District Launches Construction of Sh3.1 Billion Kitoba Seed School"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>By Johnson Kanyesige<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Ministry of Education and sports working with Hoima District Local Government has on Wednesday handed over a site to the contractor to start preparations for the commencement of construction works for the 3.1 billion Shillings Kitoba Seed School in Kiseke, Kitoba Town Council.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The site was handed over to Dolphins Consult Engineers and Contractors Company who will commence the works on 24th June,2026 and complete the project in 10 months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to Eng Patrick Bongmin the project supervisor from the Education Ministry, the project includes construction of 4 classroom blocks, 2 science laboratories, multipurpose hall, an administration block,ICT hall, a library, a three blocks of staff quarters and sports facilities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Uthuman Mugisha Mubarak, the LCV Chairperson, commended the government for responding to their requests for support to the school which will help thousands of children access education.He said the district has been fighting hard to get the project implemented.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Shafih Ntuuyo, the Assistant RDC commended the NRM government for delivering on its mandate of promoting social economic transformation through education.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">He warned the contractor against deviation from the contract terms and conditions and carry out shoddy works.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Johnson Kanyesige The Ministry of Education and sports working with Hoima District Local Government has on Wednesday handed over a site to the contractor to start preparations for the commencement of construction works for the 3.1 billion Shillings Kitoba Seed School in Kiseke, Kitoba Town Council.
