The sitting sat on Thursday at the district headquarters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The new budget is more than the current financial year 2025\/2026 by 11.07 million Shillings representing an increase of 35%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to the budget estimates, 82% of the funds will be conditional grants amounting to 35 billion shillings while the district expects to raise local revenue in the next financial year amounting to 1.5 Billion Shillings representing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to the budget, the road works, education, agro-industrialization, health are among the sectors which have taken a lion\u2019s share among others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Meanwhile, some of the key projects planned for the next financial year include; the upgrading of Buseruka Health Center III to a community hospital at 6.55 Billion Shillings whose construction will be undertaken by UPDF Engineering Brigade.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Johnson Kanyesige Hoima District Council has today approved the 42.5 Billion shillings budget estimate for financial year 2026\/2027.
