The Kagadi grade one magistrate’s court presided over by His worship Edward Kayaki has remanded a-15-year old boy to Mambugu government prisons for allegedly defiling a fellow minor.
The accused is Fred Baryesiima a resident of Nyabugando cell, in Burora Sub-County Kagadi district.
Prosecution told court on Wednesday that the accused on 1st May, 2025 while in Nyabugando village, defiled a-12-year old girl who is also a resident of the same area.
While in the dock, the accused was not allowed to take plea to the charges, which are capital in nature and can only be heard before the High Court. He was remanded till 5th July, 2025.
