The Kagadi grade one magistrate’s court presided over by his worship Edward Kayuuki on Tuesday remanded a 26-year-old man to Mambugu government prison on charges of making threats to kill.
The accused has been identified as Edward Mugisa a resident of Kitehe village, Mairirwe Sub-County in Kagadi district.
Court heard that, on 7th October 2024, the accused stormed the home of the complainant Priscilla Baingana, a resident of the same area with a pang and threatened to kill her after she accused him of defiling her daughter.
While in the dock, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges which prompted court to remand him to Mambugu government prison till 13th March, 2025 for further hearing of the case.
