The Prime Minister of Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom Andrew Byakutaaga has asked aggrieved Kingdom subjects to use the legal procedures to address their grievances in relation to the kingdom issues.

Byakutaaga’s statement comes a day after a group of five individuals led by Lenox Barongo Mugume on Monday afternoon protested his continued stay in office claiming his term of office has already expired and Hoima high court has already cleared the interim cabinet headed by Dr Baltaza Kasirivu to occupy the offices.

In a Tuesday statement, Byakutaaga has asked the subjects who are aggrieved to embrace presenting their grievances in an acceptable manner rather than using violent and forceful means.

He asserts that the kingdom administration will not tolerate any form of lawlessness or violence aimed at creating instability in the kingdom.

“The Kingdom legal team is closely following up this case with the responsible authorities to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice and held accountable for their actions”- a statement reads in part.
