Unknown people have killed a businessman in Kikuube District. The deceased has been identified as Musinguzi Akabwayi 30, a resident of Rusaka Village. The incident happened in the wee hours of Friday.
Residents in the area say Musinguzi was last seen while in his bar in Rusaka trading centre on Thursday night.  According to the residents, the assailants after executing their mission made off with the deceased’s head.
Ibrahim Juma Mugenyi, the LCIII Chairperson for Kikuube town council explains that Musinguzi could have been trailed by his attackers. He appealed to the police to thoroughly investigate the matter to ensure that the culprits are apprehended for justice to prevail.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson has confirmed the incident stating that investigations have commenced.
He has appealed to members of the public to cooperate with the police by availing crucial information that could lead to the arrest and detention of the suspects.
