The head teacher of Kijunjubwa primary school in Kijunjubwa Sub County, Masindi district, Nicholas Kiiza, has been arrested for allegedly defiling his pupils.
Mansur Bwohe, the Kijunjubwa sub county chairperson, told our reporter this morning that Kiiza was arrested on Tuesday by police after four parents of the pupils he allegedly defiled reported the matter.
He adds that Kiiza has been defiling the pupils and threatening them with dismissal from the school if they revealed the matter to their parents.
However, he says the pupils decided to report the matter to their parents after they could no longer tolerate it, prompting their parents to report the matter to the police.
According to the chairperson, Kiiza was taken to Masindi police station, where he was still being detained at the time of filing this story.
The Albertine region police spokesperson, Allan Hakiza, confirmed Kiiza’s arrest and said he is currently detained at Masindi CPS on charges of defilement.
