Secondary Schools in Hoima City have been tasked to boost their security systems in order to jealously protect the infrastructures and other developments in their respective schools.

Badru Mugabi, the Hoima City resident commissioner noted there is a growing trend of thuggery and bulgary cases of computers installed in schools by the government of Uganda.

He was officiating at the pass out ceremony of 600 students of Kitara secondary school who have successfully undergone a training in patriotism.

Patrick Zahura, the school head teacher noted that the students have been empowered with ideologies and skills to have their country at heart.

Fred Kabagyo, the chair board of the school said such trainings empower and prepare the students in their future lives.

Some of the trainees who include Deborah Kobusinge and Kenneth committed to implement the skills in their places of origin through empowering other students and their communities.
