Hoima LCI Chairpersons Boost their Economic Welfare with Purchase of New Taxi

In a bid to enhance their economic welfare, the Hoima City Local Council One Chairpersons Farmers SACCO has purchased a taxi, registration number UBQ 773U worth 82million shillings.

The SACCO, led by Chairman Muhammed Kimera Kiyimba, proudly showcased their achievement to the Resident City Commissioner (RCC) Badru Magabi and other stakeholders.

Kiyimba says the initiative is part of the SACCO’s strategic plan to improve the livelihoods of its members, who are primarily farmers and local council leaders.

He expressed his gratitude to the SACCO members for their hard work and dedication, which made the purchase possible thus encouraged the SACCO members to prioritize meetings and work together towards achieving their goals.

The RCC Hoima Badru Mugabi commended the SACCO for their innovative approach to economic empowerment and encouraged them to continue working together to achieve greater heights.

Mugabi, has congratulated the Hoima City Local Council One Chairpersons Farmers SACCO for their prudent decision to save and invest in a brand new taxi.

The taxi, registration number UBQ 773U, was purchased through collective savings and aims to generate additional income for the SACCO members.

Mugabi also encouraged other saving groups in the region to emulate the SACCO’s example, emphasizing the importance of collective savings and strategic investments in achieving economic empowerment.
