Parents of Kakindo Primary School in Kakindo Cell, Kakindo Town Council Hoima District want one of the school teaches transferred for misconduct and mishandfling leaerners.
The aggrieved parents also accuse Sophie Zawedde, a primary four teacher of arrogance, neglect of duty and indiscipline.
Speaking during a parents, teachers meeting held Thursday at Kakindo primary school premises, the parents say teacher Zawedde uses an abusive language towards learners, disrespects fellow teachers and parents which affects the performance of learners at school.
Micheal Kaahwa, a parent to the school says despite different engagements with the teacher, she has completely failed to change her mode of work.
Harriet Kyomuhendo another parent and resident of Kyamutwe Kyajjawe has called for the transfer of madam Zawedde saying she has caused a lot of infights within the school.
Joshua Biingi a resident of Kakindo and also a parent disclosed that the School management committee has had engagements with the accused teacher in vain adding learners especially those in primary four fear attending classes due to her behavior.
Benedetti Kanyange, the Head Teacher Kakindo Primary School says she is aware of teacher Zawedde’s conduct saying as the school management, they have engaged her, issued warnings but she has failed to change.
She is however says incase Zawedde fails to improve her relationship with learners and the staff, the matter will be forwarded to higher authorities.
Meanwhile, the chairperson school management committee Rev. Patrick Musinguzi, the Vicar All Saints COU Bulindi archdeaconry has called on teachers to observe discipline and do their work ethically.
He has condemned Zawedde’s acts.

Sophia Zawedde, the accused teacher has denied the allegations, saying she does her work professionally terming the accusations as bias.
