Q-Sourcing Servtec Group (QSS), together with WQS Recruitment Services has generously contributed educational materials to the children residing at the MIK Foundation Orphanage Home in Kyarwiru, Hoima East City Division.

This donation is especially significant as it coincides with the reopening of schools for the first term of the 2024 academic year set for February 5. Many families within the community are currently facing financial challenges, making it difficult for them to cover the various educational expenses for their children, including school fees and essential scholastic supplies.

Mark Kakungulu, the Community Liaison’s Officer for WQS Recruitment Services Hoima Office, has emphasized that this charitable act is a part of the company’s commitment to social corporate responsibility. Their goal is to bolster Uganda’s education sector by ensuring that vulnerable children have the necessary resources to stay in school.

Furthermore, Kakungulu highlighted that this initiative aims to combat the high rate of school dropouts resulting from a lack of scholastic materials. In many areas, students miss lessons simply because they lack basic supplies like pencils, pens, or books, which hampers their educational progress. He encouraged the children to dream big and work diligently for a brighter future.

Sophie Kamugasa, the Founder of MIK Foundation Orphanage Home located in Kyarwiru cell, Hoima City, expressed her gratitude for the support. Currently, the center provides care for more than 70 children. She commended the recruitment company for their valuable assistance in ensuring these children receive the education and resources they need to thrive.
