The update of the voter’s register ahead of the Hoima LCV by-election has gained momentum with a high turn up of electorates in the sub counties of Kabaale, Kiganja and Kitoba sub counties, electoral commission has noted.
Merab Kassande, the Hoima district election administrator says new registration of voters and transfers is on the rise in the three sub counties.
She however says they have recorded a low turn up in Buraru and Kyabigambire sub counties.
Hoima district will go to polls on Thursday September 14 to elect a new district LCV Chairperson.
