Police in Kikuube district are holding seven people in connection to the recent murders in Kikuube district that left over six people dead.
According to police, the suspects were arrested in different areas during a joint security operation which was conducted in Kabwoya and Kyangwali sub-counties.
Julius Hakiiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson who declined to divulge the identities of the suspects in fear of jeopardizing the investigation, says the suspects were arrested on different dates and they are currently detained at Kikuube police station.
