Private vehicles, Boda Boda riders operating in the Hoima Bus and Tax Park have been ordered to vacate the park with immediate effect.

Milton Asiimwe, the Hoima East City Town clerk says the park is congested with motorcyclists and private vehicles saying starting this Friday, they should not access the park.

He made the remarks while meeting tax drivers, owners and officials from the Uganda revenue Authority in a meeting held Thursday at the park.

Meanwhile, Asiimwe adds that starting with Monday April 17, 2023, Hoima City and Uganda Revenue Authority will start enforcing the park user fees. Each public service vehicle is supposed to pay Ugx840,000 per year in three phases under the park user fee.
