Police in Buliisa district is hunting for unknown thugs who broke into office sub-county chief of Biiso sub-county and went away with property worth millions of shillings.
Denis Oyewa, the Chairperson LC3 for Biiso Sub County says the thugs broke into the sub county office in the wee hours of Monday.
He notes that the thugs broke into the office through the door and took two solar batteries and also connecting wire cables and other property worth Sh10 million.
Oyewa says police used sniffer dogs to hunt for the thugs but unfortunate they failed to trace them.
Relatedly, thugs have also broke into the offices of Biiso town council.
These are alleged to have taken a computer and a printer among other items worth over sh20million.
Peter Oketch, the Mayor Biiso town council explains that the thugs accessed the office through the window after they broke the glasses and cut the bugler proof using pliers.
Julius Hakiiza, the Albertine  has confirmed the incidents adding that police have launched the hunt for the suspects.
