Common Man’s Party Presidential Candidate Mubarak Munyagwa has revealed that the Opposition is ready and determined to unseat the Incumbent and National Resistance Movement (NRM)’s candidate Yoweri Museveni in the 2026 general elections.
Munyagwa who spent most of yesterday campaigning in Hoima City dismissed claims of some Ugandans who say the opposition are many in number and it may be hard to defeat President Museveni saying it requires a percentage of 50% to clinch the Presidency seat which he believes opposition will share the percentages to ensure Museveni is defeated in 2026.
He rallied the residents in Hoima City to vote for him on January 15 during the general elections adding that the Common Man’s Party represents a common man like them whose ideas he represents adding that power belongs to the voters and they have to effectively exploit it.
He also disclosed that once elected President, all foreigners running small businesses in Uganda will be expelled back to their origin countries in 48 hours adding that it is time to reclaim back the country.
He rallied the Banyoro to invoke their historical bravery and resist the NRM leadership.
