National Resistance Movement-NRM Flag Bearers contesting for various electoral positions in Hoima City have been warned against supporting opposition politicians during the 2026 general elections.
The Minister of State for Public Service, Grace Mary Mugasa cautioned NRM flag bearers supporting opposition candidates, urging them to back their own party members instead.
She made the remarks at an Ekyooto event in Bujura ward, Hoima city organized by National Vice Chairman for Western Region, Eng. Jonard Asiimwe on Sunday evening.
Lubega Joseph Kamanyire the Vice Chairperson LCII Bujura ward revealed that they have challenges of electricity, clean and safe water supply, poor feeder roads among others and requested the leaders above them to take note.
Eng. Asiimwe emphasized the need for unity among NRM members, stressing its crucial role in securing electoral victories.
He disclosed the plans for intensive training on vote mobilization, highlighting the importance of the structures in securing NRM wins.
