The Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities, and State Enterprises (COSASE) has directed the Departed Asians Property Custodian Board (DAPCB) to produce an asset inventory detailing all valued properties, those repossessed and disposed of.

The Board, led by the Executive Secretary, George William Bizibu, on Tuesday appeared before COSASE to respond to audit queries for the year ended 30th June 2024.

According to the Auditor General’s report, DAPCB does not have a comprehensive asset register to date, despite earlier government plans to rationalise the agency. Bizibu was also tasked to produce the list of properties donated by the Minister as stipulated in the Act.
