Unknown Thugs Rob Couple in Hoima City Of Their UGX 1.6million

Unknown thugs have robbed a couple in Hoima City of their 1.6 million shillings. The incident happened Sunday night in Buswekera South cell in Kihukya ward, Hoima West division in Hoima City.

The victims Abigaba Johnson and his wife Kahwa Rose were attacked at around 8: 45PM as they returned back home. It is established that the assailants shoot in the air before robbing the victims of their belongings including cash.

Julius Allan Hakiiza the Albertine South regional police spokesperson confirmed the incident adding that the victims reported the case at around 11pm at Hoima CPS and detectives reported the crime scene and kicked off investigations.

Hakiiza says no suspect has been arrested.

Relatedly, Police in Hoima City is hunting for unknown armed assailants who attempted to attack Ali Babi, a politician and a resident of Busiisi East cell in Hoima City over the weekend.

Julius Allan Hakiiza the Albertine South regional police spokesperson while addressing journalists at his offices in Kijungu disclosed that Babi indicated that six people with one armed, attempted to attack him as he entered into the garage of his house.

Hakiiza says that the Babi quickly reversed his vehicle upon seeing the assailants and rushed to Hoima CPS to report the case.

He says cases of house break-ins and other criminal cases are on the rise in the City suburbs as the festive season approaches urging locals to be vigilant of their homes especially when not around as well as cooperating with security to provide timely information.
