Hoima district local government has this morning received Nebbi district officials who are in the district for a benchmarking mission on the implementation of the Parish Development Model (PDM) and microscale irrigation.
The team comprises of standing committees for works, production, natural resources and commercial services. The team also comprised of local leaders and the technical team led by the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Mr Muruta Mugaga. They were received by the Principal Assistant Secretary in the office of CAO Hoima, Ms. Evelyne K Businge.
Their visit began with a presentation on PDM and micro-scale irrigation by the Hoima District Production Officer (DPO) Dr Kajura Charles.
Later they will visit micro scale irrigation farmer with coffee, cocoa and bananas, visit PDM beneficiaries and farmer groups.
