Hoima Police Recovers Stolen Motorcycle

The territorial police of Hoima have recovered a motorcycle that is suspected to have been stolen from Kagadi district.

Julius Allan Hakiza the Albertine region police mouthpiece disclosed that a motorcycle Bajaj red in color registration number UER 887B which is suspected to have been altered from the original plate number of UER 687B was on Sunday recovered along Kasamba road in Hoima city.

Hakiza says the motorcycle was being repaired at unidentified garage and the alleged rider escaped after noticing police around the area.

He adds that according to intelligence information the motorcycle is suspected to have been stolen from Kagadi district. He adds that the recovered motorcycle is now parked at Hoima CPS pending verification.

The Albertine Regional Police Mouthpiece requested members of the community and vigilantes to report people who alter number plates at police.
