The Aspiring National Resistance Movement (NRM) Vice Chairperson for Western Uganda, Nowomugisha Nzaire Kaguta Shedrack has warned party members and Ugandans at large against politics of identity as well as political corruption.

While meeting party delegates from Hoima City, Kikuube and Hoima districts at Best of the Best restaurant in Hoima East division, Hoima City on Sunday afternoon, Nowomugisha Nzaire Kaguta Shedrack says, there is need to play clean and clear politics emphasizing that his leadership will focus on uniting all Ugandans. He has condemned acts of some individuals of promoting discrimination based on tribal and religious lines.

Kaguta says he wants to deal with the politics of arrogance and impunity adding that Hoima and NRM are bigger than everyone.

Kaguta has further urged voters to vote only those leaders who will prioritize service delivery instead of the small tokens being given adding that when leaders are elected based on money, they always work towards getting it back instead of service delivery.

The Central Executive Committee elections for the party will kick off during the delegates’ conference slated to run from August 22- 25 at Namboole Stadium.
