Beatrice Wembabazi, also known as Teacher Mummy, has returned to Hoima district as the NRM flag bearer for Woman MP after a successful petition to the NRM Electoral Commission’s special tribunal.
The tribunal, headed by John Musiime, reviewed the evidence presented by both Beatrice Wembabazi and incumbent MP Harriet Businge, and declared Wembabazi the winner.
Wembabazi expressed her gratitude to her supporters in Hoima district for their unwavering support and love.
She pledged to uphold the NRM manifesto and her own campaign promises, which she had shared with the public through radio broadcasts.
Wembabazi emphasized her commitment to working closely with the people of Hoima district to address the challenges facing the area.
She identified poor leadership, neglect of voters after elections, and lack of engagement with constituents as some of the key issues that need to be addressed.
Wembabazi says with her new mandate, she aims to make a positive impact in Hoima district and serve the people who have entrusted her with their support.
