The Chairperson of the NRM Electoral Commission Dr Tanga Odoi has confirmed the election of flag bearers of Members of Parliament is slated for Thursday July 17.
Odoi has revealed that the election of flag bearers for LCV Chairpersons, Municipal, City Mayors and Councillors will be conducted on July 24.
He was addressing the media on Tuesday at the party offices along Kyadondo road.
Odoi has disclosed that they will use new registers because old ones have been withdrawn adding that the electoral commission is prepared for the exercise with materials like Declaration forms and teams are all set.
Odoi has revealed that all elections across district and Cities will start elections at 10am except in Karamoja region where the exercise will start at 9am with party members assembling at the polling stations.
The NRM Electoral Commission Chairperson further disclosed that lining up behind the candidates at 12PM.
He has warned candidates that whoever attempts to cause violence will automatically be disqualified.
