Locals from Bunyoro districts have been mobilized to turn up in big numbers for the inauguration of the New Bunyoro Muslim district Khadhi Sheik Mugenyi Rajab Akiiki this Friday.
Speaking to Spice FM this morning, Tajudean Kugonza the Publicity Secretary for the Organizing committee of the ceremony, says, all plans are going on well and everyone is set for the big ceremony set to take place at the Bwikya hill District Headquarters in Hoima City.
He has rallied all Muslims and non-Muslims to turn up in big numbers as Bunyoro Muslim district gets a new Khadhi in a ceremony that will be presided over by the Mufti of Uganda His Eminence Sheik Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje while President Museveni is expected to be the chief guest
Sheik Mugenyi, 35, at the time of his appointment had spent years of service as secretary for Masindi Muslim district
Sheik Mugenyi has replaced Sheik Musa Babanja who served for a Muslim district for a long time.
