Hoima East Division NRM Parliamentary Aspirants Pledge Improved Service Delivery

Aspirants for the Hoima East division parliamentary race in the forthcoming National Resistance Movement (NRM) party primaries have committed themselves to improving service delivery in the division and the city at large.

The aspirants made the commitments during the second day of the debates organized by Spice Media Services Limited and HB Hotel held on Thursday at the HB Pool Side in Hoima City.

The Aspirants include Regean Tusiime, Macklean Kyomuhendo Sunny, Jonah Wamani Byakutaaga and Nashif Ahmed both gearing up for the July 17 party elections being prepared across the country.

Reagan Tusiime has promised to ensure more teachers are posted in government schools in the division as one way of enhancing the learners’ performance and creating more jobs for the local people among other commitments in the health, road and religious sectors in which he promised to construct a mosque at Bwikya hill.

Mackline Kyomuhendo Sunny, has committed herself to be a voice for all electorates in the division ensuring more health facilities are put in place to reduce on the current burden at the Hoima regional referral hospital.

Nashif Ahmed, another contender wants to sensitize and push for a mindset change among the locals to embrace livelihood enhancement projects and create a link to accessing and being part of the government programs.

Jonah Byakutaaga Wamani on his side has pledged to ensure a city hospital is constructed in the city saying he is already in touch with the health minister over the same. He also revealed how he wants the youth to access job opportunity as infrastructures like the Hoima Stadium are being constructed in the division.

The Aspirants meanwhile have called for sanity during the campaigns to ensure they remain united even after elections.
