Kinyara Sugar Ltd Supports the Royal 31st Coronation Anniversary Celebrations

Kinyara Sugar Ltd has supported the 31st Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Majesty Dr. Omukama Dr. Solomon Gafabusa Iguru I, the Omukama of Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom.
The main Celebrations are scheduled for June 11, 2025, at BKK Kingdom’s parliamentary gardens.
While meeting the BKK Prime Minister at BKK offices last evening, the Kinyara Sugar Ltd Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Ravi Ramalingam disclosed the company’s contribution of 10 million Shillings towards the Royal celebrations.
The CEO was accompanied by the company’s Agriculture Manager Mr Senthil Kumar and the Company’s Public Relations Officer Mr Francis Mugerwa.
The delegation was warmly received by the Kingdom’s Prime Minister, Owek. Andrew Byakutaga Ateenyi.
During the meeting, the Kinyara Sugar Ltd CEO commended the Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom and all the people of Bunyoro-Kitara for the hospitality and support to the company.
He said Kinyara Sugar Ltd is pleased to support the King’s Coronation Anniversary Celebrations.
On behalf of the Kinyara Sugar Ltd Board, Management and Staff, he wished the Kingdom peaceful and colorful celebrations.
The Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom’s Prime Minister expressed gratitude for Kinyara Sugar Ltd’s generous support towards both the Empango Run and the coronation anniversary.
He said Kinyara Sugar Ltd is among the consistent and reliable partners of the Kingdom that support the Annual Coronation Anniversary Celebrations.
He also commended Kinyara Sugar Ltd for its contribution towards the social economic development of Bunyoro in terms of giving employment and business opportunities to the people as well as Corporate Social Responsibility programs in communities.
The Prime Minister handed over Royal running kits that will be used by runners in the Empango Marathon slated for Saturday 7th June and invited the company staff to participate in the event.
While briefing the media,the Kinyara Sugar Ltd Public Relations Officer appreciated Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom for hosting the company’s delegation and revealed that the company prioritizes culture among the programs that are supported under the Corporate Social Responsibility interventions.
“We already have a cordial working relationship with BKK and the people of Bunyoro-Kitara. We are here to further grow our relationship for the mutual benefit of all of us, Mugerwa said.
He said some of the company staff will participate in not only the Royal Marathon but even in the subsequent activities that have been organized by the Kingdom to commemorate the 31st Coronation Anniversary Celebrations of His Royal Majesty, Dr. Solomon Gafabusa Iguru I, the Omukama of Bunyoro-Kitara.
