Police in Hoima city are holding 28 people on charges of trafficking.
Julius Allan Hakiza the Albertine Region spokesperson says of the 28 people, 26 are juveniles between the age of 12 and 16 and only two are adults.
The group was residing with one Robert Kaliisa a resident of Bujwahya Cell in Hoima West City Division.
Hakiza adds that police conducted a search in the house of Kaliisa and recovered one live ammunition, master keys, harmers, stamp of the CDO Bombo sub-county, electronics among others.
Hakiza says Kaliisa has been using the juveniles to commit crimes in the area.
He has called upon the leaders from the different districts around the region to come and identify the children since they come from various places.
