Police in Masindi district is investigating circumstances under which a 34-year-old man was found dead Kafu-Kigumba highway, in Masindi district.
The deceased has only been identified as Mulindwa, a casual labourer at the farm of one Dr. Kadima in in Kibanja village, Kibanja parish in Kimengo sub county in Masindi district.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine regional police spokesperson says the deceased was paid his salary on 23rd May, 2025, and later he went to a bar to drink alcohol but did not return.
Hakiza adds that his lifeless body was discovered the folowing day along Kafu-Kigumba highway with deep cuts on the head.
Hakiza notes that the body was picked for a postmorterm before it was handedover to relatives for burial as investigations are underway.
