Police has this morning deployed at the Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom offices to boost security at the oldest cultural institution.

Speaking to Journalists at his office, Julius Allan Hakiiza the Albertine regional police spokesperson has revealed that they received intelligence that some individuals were plotting to cause mayhem at the kingdom offices over unknown reasons.

He added that this is a normal deployment further noting that the deployment is always done whenever they anticipate chaos and calls on locals to remain calm.
