Kagadi grade one magistrate’s court has remanded a-34 year old man- Adam Komujuni to three years in Mambugu government prison on charges of stoning and damaging a Police vehicle in Muhorro town council, Kagadi district.

Komujuni, a resident of Nyankoma Village in Galiboreka Sub-County, Kagadi district, is accused of standing by the roadside and stoning police patrol vehicle number UP 9454 in late December last year.

The court in Kagadi, presided over by His Worship Edward Kawuki, heard that on December 28, 2024, Adam Komujuni, a resident of Nyankoma village in Galiboreka Sub-County, Kagadi District, stoned the police patrol vehicle, causing damage.

Komujuni accepted the charges and court sentenced him to three years in jail in Mambugu government prisons.

Meanwhile, the same court presided over by his worship Edward Kayuuki remanded a-38-year-old man to Mambugu government prison on charges of stealing a motor vehicle.

The accused has been identified as Elius Kabody a resident of Namiryango cell in Kagadi town council, Kagadi district.

Court heard that the accused and others still at large on 11th Dec, 2024 stole a motor vehicle Reg.No. UBA 581/V valued at 25M and money in cash worth 40M shillings property of Yusuf Asiimwe.

While in the dock, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges and this prompted court to remand him to Mambugu government prisons till March 13, 2025, as the hunt for his accomplices intensifies.
