24 Year Old Kagadi Man Remanded for Malicious Damage of Police Vehicle.

A 24-year-old man has been remanded to Mambugu government prison on charges of malicious damage of a government vehicle belonging to Uganda police.

Court presided over by His Worship Edward Kayukyi yesterday heard that on 29/12 /2024 Adam Komujuni a resident of Nyakoma cell Muhorro town council Kagadi district while in Muhorro town damaged motor vehicle registration number UP 9454.

Aligned before court, the suspect pleaded guilty but the absentia of the state prosecutor prompted court to remand him till 17/01/2025 for cross examining and sentencing.

Meanwhile, the same court also remanded an 18-year-old woman to Mambugu government prison on charges of theft.

Court presided over by the same judge His Worship Edward Kayukyi heard that on 23/12/2024 Asiimwe Loy Leticia a resident of Kiraba lower cell, Kagadi town council Kagadi district stole 350,000 shillings from Bwambale Bright, a resident of the same area.

Aligned before court, she pleaded guilty to the charges and was remanded till 16/01/2025 for cross examining and sentencing.
