Police in Kyaterekera town Kagadi district are hunting for a 42-year-old man for allegedly cutting his spouse with a panga inflicting her with serious injuries.
The suspect only identified as Monday cut his wife Christine Mbabazi on Tuesday after unknown misunderstandings. The married are all residents of Kihinda village, Buswaka Ward Kyaterekera Town Council Kagadi District.
The village Chairperson Alex Kabagambe condemned the act and advised married couples to always go to their leaders for guidance and counseling.
Mbabazi is currently receiving medication in one of the healthy facilities in Kyaterekera town council while the accused man is currently on the run as police intensifies efforts to hunt for him.
