The Bishop of Bunyoro Kitara diocese Rt. Rev. Jacob Ateirweho has implored Christians to worship God and serve him to get blessings.
The cleric made the call this afternoon on his pastoral visit at St. Peter’s Burora COU parish, Kyakabadima archdeaconry Bunyoro Kitara diocese.
He was accompanied by his wife Irene Ateirweho and confirmed 104 Christians into the Anglican faith.
Bishop Ateirweho emphasized true and proper worship, asking the newly confirmed Christians to remain humble like the young children and have strong faith in Christ.
He further urged Christians to venture into high value crops such as coffee and cocoa farming to alleviate poverty from their homes.
In his remarks, the Kagadi district chairman Ndibwami B Yosia lauded Bishop Ateirweho for mobilizing Christians on wealth creation in his sermons of spiritual and socio-economic transformation.
